Discover your fertile days and get pregnant fast!

Ovulation test strips allow you to discover what your most fertile days are. Simply dip the ovulation test strip into your urine, and it will show you when you are most able to become pregnant. It works by showing the Luteinizing hormone (LH) surge. LH increases right before a woman ovulates. When the LH is at its highest, you will know that you are ready to ovulate, and when to have intercourse in order to conceive a baby.

Discover your fertile days and get pregnant fast!
Our ovulation test strips make it easy to find out when you are able to become pregnant. Ovulation test strips work by telling you when your most fertile day is. It is a common misconception that women ovulate on the 14th day of their cycle. Variances in hormone levels can often cause cycle length and peak fertile days to fluctuate, making it difficult to predict when ovulation occurs. With ovulation test strips, there is no guessing when you ovulate.

Ovulation test strips work by detecting the Luteinizing hormone (LH) surge. LH is a hormone that triggers ovulation. When LH is at its peak, this will indicate that you are ready to ovulate. By using Ovulation test strips, you will be able to detect your most fertile day, letting you know what day is your best chance of conceiving a baby.

How do I use Ovulation Test Strips?

To determine when to begin testing, you will need to know your average menstrual cycle length. You menstrual cycle begins at the first day of your last period and ends the day you start your next period. If you have irregular cycles, then you will need to take the average of your last three menstrual cycles. Based on the number of days in your cycle, use the chart below to determine when to start testing.

Cycle Length Day to Start Testing
21 Days Day 5
22 Days Day 6
23 Days Day 7
24 Days Day 8
25 Days Day 9
26 Days Day 10
27 Days Day 11
28 Days Day 12
29 Days Day 13

33 Days Day 17
34 Days Day 18
35 Days Day 19

37 Days Day 21
38 Days Day 22
39 Days Day 23

When using ovulation test strips, it does not matter what time of day you test, but it is important to test at the SAME TIME every day.

To use the ovulation test strips:

  1. Urinate into a clean cup
  2. Remove the Ovulation Test Strip from it’s foil pouch
  3. Hold the Ovulation Test Strip vertically and dip it into the specimen, making sure you do not immerse past the maximum line on the test strip.
  4. Remove the Ovulation Test Strip from the specimen after you notice the red dye moving through the Result Window.
  5. Read the results in 5 minutes

Reading the Test Results:

  1. You will notice a purple band appearing in the left section of the Results Window, when the test begins to work. This is the Control Line.
  2. In the right section of the Results Window, you will notice another purple band. This is the Test Line. This line may not appear which simply indicates there is no LH detected at this time.

Interpreting the Test Results:

POSITIVE RESULT:  If you notice that the 2 purple bands are similar in color and darkness, there is an increase of LH detected. The test band may be darker than the control band.

NEGATIVE RESULT: If the Test Line is lighter than the Control Line then there is no LH surge detected. If the Test Line is absent, then there is no detection of LH at all.

INVALID RESULT: If Control Line does not appear in the Results Window, the test is invalid. This may happen if the directions are not followed, or the test has expired.

Remember, if the Test Line is as dark as or darker then the Control Line, then the test is positive and you are having an LH surge. An LH surge can last anywhere from one to three days.
