This one-step ovulation predictor test will let you know within minutes when you can most likely become pregnant. With our Mid-Stream Ovulation Tests, you do not need an extra specimen cup, and using it couldn’t be simpler! Just hold the test in your urine stream for at least 6 seconds, and know within minutes if it is the right time to conceive a baby! Our Mid-Stream Ovulation tests work by detecting the Luteinizing hormone (LH) in your urine. The release of the egg is triggered by LH. When LH is at its highest, it is an indication that ovulation will occur very shortly. By detecting the surge of LH in your urine, you will be able to pin-point when you are ovulating, taking the guess work out of baby making!
Myth: Ovulation Occurs on the 14th Day of Your Cycle
It is a common misconception that women ovulate on day 14 of their cycle. While this may be true in some women, ovulation fluctuates based on individual hormone levels. This not only affects the day of ovulation, but cycle length, which is why some women’s cycles are longer or shorter than others. Our Mid-Stream Ovulation Predictor kits make it easy to determine when your peak fertile day occurs. Now you will know for sure when you are mostly likely able to become pregnant!
How to use Mid-Stream Ovulation Tests:
You will first need to establish what day is best to begin testing. In order to do this, determine the length of your average menstrual cycle. Your menstrual cycle begins on the first day of your last period and ends on the first day of your next period. For those people who have irregular cycle lengths, you will need to take the average length of your previous three periods. Referencing the chart below, you will be able to conclude which day you should begin testing.

It is important that when using the Mid-Stream Ovulation Predictor Tests that you test at the same time every day.
Directions:
- Take the cap off the end of the test stick.
- Hold the absorbent tip in your urine stream for at least 6 seconds.
- Place the cap back on, over the absorbent tip.
- Read the test results in 5 minutes.
Reading the Test Results:
- You will notice a purple band appearing closest to where you hold the test. This is the Control Line.
- You will notice another purple band which is closest to the absorbent tip. This is the Test Line. This line may not appear which simply indicates there is no LH detected at this time.
Interpreting the Test Results:
POSITIVE RESULT: If the 2 purple bands are similar in color and darkness, there is an increase of LH detected. The test band may be darker than the control band.
NEGATIVE RESULT: If the Test Line is lighter than the Control Line then there is no LH surge detected. If the Test Line is absent, then there is no detection of LH at all.
INVALID RESULT: If Control Line does not appear in the Results Window, the test is invalid. This may happen if the directions are not followed, or the test has expired.
If the Test line is darker than the control line, you are having an LH surge and will be ovulating very shortly. An LH surge can last from one to three days.
