How do Mid-Stream Early Pregnancy Tests Work?
Using Mid-Stream Early Pregnancy Test
- For the most accurate results, use the Mid-Stream Early Pregnancy Test in the morning, with your first urination of the day.
- Take the cap off the end of the pregnancy test.
- Take the cap off the end of the test stick.
- Hold the absorbent tip in your urine stream for at least 6 seconds.
- Put the cap back on, over the absorbent tip.
Reading the Test Results:
- In the Results Window, you will notice a line closest to where you hold the test. This is the Control Line and will always appear. If the control line is not present, then the test is invalid.
- The presence of a second line closest to the absorbent tip indicates pregnancy. If this line appears, not matter how faint, the test is positive.
- If only the Control Line appears and the test line does not, then the test is negative.
If pregnancy is still suspected, wait a few more days and test again. Testing before there is not a sufficient amount of pregnancy hormone, can cause a false negative result.
